Membership of Bangladesh University of Medical Sciences in the CINVU

The Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh University of Medical Sciences, in a meeting with the Secretary General of the CINVU, signed an official cooperation document and accepted membership in the CINVU HQ on behalf of the University.

 

According to the public relations of the Virtual Universities Network of the Islamic World, in this meeting, Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of the CINVU, pointed to the need to make full use of virtual education capacities to strengthen communication between elites, thinkers, universities and Islamic countries. The CINVU need to establish an effective link between the member universities and Bangladesh University of Medical Sciences.

 

The Secretary General of the CINVU also expressed readiness to cooperate between this scientific and technological institution and Bangladesh University of Medical Sciences in providing virtual education, adding that more than 30 million students are currently receiving virtual education, so in the face of Pandemi  Covid-19 must take advantage of the capabilities of e-learning to strengthen the connections between elites, thinkers, universities and Islamic countries, taking into account the development-oriented approach, in order to achieve the lofty goal of creating a new Islamic civilization.

 

Dr. Farid Ul-Alam, Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh University of Medical Sciences, while expressing his satisfaction with his presence in the Islamic Republic of Iran and meeting with Dr. Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of the CINVU, on strengthening cooperation and benefiting Muslim professors, students and researchers from academic, scientific and Technology stressed.

 

Accordingly, at the end of the event, Signed an official  memorandum of cooperation and membership of Bangladesh University of Medical Sciences with the CINVU.

It is worth mentioning that the COMSTECH Inter Islamic Network on Virtual Universities, which is called CINVU for short, is one of the networks of the Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the member countries of the Islamic Cooperation Organization (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Islamic Republic of Iran. This network is an important and rich base for strengthening and developing public higher education in the virtual context of information technology, which aims to achieve justice in the field of knowledge and thought and deepen and consolidate learning and educational, research, cultural and skills empowerment of students, professors, universities and elites.
