Meeting the Vice Chancellor of Pakistan National University of Science and Technology with the Secretary General of the CINVU

The Secretary General of the CINVU met with the Vice Chancellor of the National University of Science and Technology of Pakistan to express his readiness to assist in launching virtual education and holding joint virtual courses with this university.

According to the public relations of the CINVU, Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of the CINVU, met with Professor Osman Hassan, Vice Chancellor of the National University of Science and Technology of Pakistan, pointing to the need , Thinkers, universities and Islamic countries, stressed the readiness of the CINVU to establish a link between the member universities and the National University of Science and Technology of Pakistan.

The Secretary General of the CINVU, while expressing readiness to assist in launching virtual education and holding joint virtual courses after the membership of Pakistan National University of Science and Technology, the strategic role of Pakistan in strengthening science and technology among Islamic countries, especially its activities In the Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH)

On this basis, Professor Osman Hassan, Vice Chancellor of the National University of Science and Technology of Pakistan, while expressing satisfaction with the meeting with Dr. Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of the CINVU, referred to the capacity of the National University of Science and Technology of Pakistan .., called the rare activities of the CINVU, especially in the days of restrictions caused by the Pandemi of COVID-19, and called for the use of these capacities and experiences in order to launch virtual training courses at the National University of Science and Technology of Pakistan.

It is worth mentioning that the network of virtual universities of the Islamic world, which is called CINVU for short, is one of the networks of the Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the member countries of the Islamic Cooperation Organization (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Islamic Republic of Iran. This network is an important and rich base for strengthening and developing public higher education in the virtual context of information technology, which aims to achieve justice in the field of knowledge and thought and deepen and consolidate learning and educational, research, cultural and skills empowerment of students, professors, universities and elites.
