According to Islamic Republic Radio and Television News Agency; "The memorandum aims to benefit from the international capacity to attract students, transfer knowledge, technology and experiences between the virtual universities of the Islamic world," said the Qom center, signing a memorandum of cooperation between the Islamic World Virtual Universities Network and Farabi Campus of Tehran University. And Farabi Campus of Tehran University was signed.
Najafi Barzegar said that the most important achievement of this memorandum was the introduction of scientific and research capacities of Iranian universities to the Islamic world, student admission, scientific exchange between professors and regional studies.
He cited the growth of Iranian scientific and technological diplomacy as another achievement of the academic interaction between the Islamic world and added: "This scientific and cultural interaction will strengthen Islamic unity among Islamic countries."
The head of the Farabi Campus of the University of Tehran also said: "One of the goals of the campus of the University of Tehran is to work at the international level.
Mohammad Rezaei stated that the most important achievement of this memorandum is attracting students in undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and even postdoctoral programs for university professors and said: this university accepts students in the fields of theology, law, engineering and management by being a member of this virtual university.
He referred to the university's work in publishing the first international journal in the field of management in Arabic and said: "This scientific interaction creates a suitable platform for gaining scientific experience of university professors in the Islamic world to achieve internationalization of 12 scientific and research journals." Farabi will be the campus of the University of Tehran.
The network of virtual universities of the Islamic world is one of the networks of the Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which includes 57 Islamic countries in Asia, Africa and Europe with more than 6 million students.
